Please note: Schefflera is slightly poisonous and contains calcium oxalate. The sap can irritate the skin and ingestion can lead to irritation of the mouth and vomiting. Therefore, keep this houseplant away from animals and children and always consult a doctor in case of ingestion or irritation.
Pruning
Pruning a Schefflera is best done in the fall. Prune the plant so that more light can reach the core during the winter. The plant will then sprout and branch again in the spring, giving it a fuller and more compact appearance. Prune especially the shoots back to the crown to maintain the shape.
Water requirement
The Schefflera is a beautiful and graceful houseplant that needs slightly moist soil in the summer and slightly drying soil in the winter. Check regularly if the soil is moist enough by sticking your finger in the soil. In the summer, water once a week and in the winter once every 10 days, depending on the circumstances.
Power supply
Scheffleras need little water but should be watered regularly, especially in the summer. Check the soil regularly and water when necessary. Use vulcastrat and a water meter to water less often. Feed the plant in the spring and summer with liquid food for houseplants. Prune the plant every fall for a fuller appearance.
Location
The Schefflera is a beautiful and graceful houseplant that prefers a light location, without too much direct sunlight. Make sure that the soil remains slightly moist in the summer. In the winter, you can let the soil dry out slightly between waterings. Place the plant in a location with three to five hours of direct sunlight per day. When will I receive my order?
