The Bougainvillea is a striking climbing plant known for its exuberant flowering with brightly coloured bracts. This South American beauty blooms from May to October and can even bloom all year round when planted indoors. Perfect as a container plant for the terrace or balcony.

Why choose the Bougainvillea?
This versatile plant is ideal for those looking for a long-flowering climber with minimal maintenance. The Bougainvillea is perfectly trained and makes a beautiful eye-catcher on any patio or balcony. Its adaptability to both indoor and outdoor environments makes it a flexible asset for any plant lover.
Pruning is allowed, but not really necessary. The plants flower on the shoots they form during the growing season and can therefore be pruned after flowering to save space in the winter storage. When the plant has finished flowering, you can prune to two buds of the newly formed wood, taking into account the desired shape. Branches that are too long can be pruned deeper in the hope that they will grow back on dormant buds.
Water requirement
The plant is thirsty and needs water almost daily in the summer. At the same time, the Bougainvillea hates 'wet feet', so make sure that excess water can drain from the pot. In the autumn, the water requirement - certainly from October onwards - is strongly dependent on the weather conditions. In warm, sunny weather you can still water a few times a week. But when it is cold, the plant only needs moderate water.
Power supply
Fertilize monthly via the irrigation water and that with fertilizer with a high potassium content and a low nitrogen content. Potassium to get more flowering and little nitrogen to prevent too lush leaf growth and little flowering.

When will I receive my order?

Was my order successful, because I did not receive a confirmation?
