Our showroom is more than just a place to get inspired. We believe that everyone is valuable and important. There is no person without value, and we get energy from helping and building others. That is why we want to create a meaningful place where everyone is welcome, where children can learn through play and where families can experience special moments together. Our mission is to build an environment that not only entertains, but also contributes to society.
That is why we work on projects that really make an impact. We want to develop a space where children, including those from families with fewer resources, can play and discover for free. A place where they can experience that they are valuable, that they matter. In addition, we are committed to educational experiences that help children grow in self-confidence and show them that they are important.
And in the future? Then we dream of a large greenhouse full of possibilities for daytime activities and nature experiences. An environment in which everyone, young and old, feels welcome and where people come together to enjoy, discover and learn. Read more about our plans below!
Discover the African village
Step into a piece of Africa and discover not only the atmosphere and culture, but also the heart of our mission. This village is more than a backdrop; it tells the story of our work in countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Pakistan and India. Here you will learn what Teeninga Palmen does and how we change lives worldwide.
Soon you will even be able to sponsor a child here. In the village there are portraits of children, generated by AI, but as soon as you choose to support a child with a small monthly amount, a child is actually taken off the streets and taken in at the Joy Center. This center offers them a safe place, education and a future. In this way, together, directly from our showroom, we make a tangible impact on the lives of these children.

Adventure at the waterfall and fish feeding spots
Do you dare to walk across our impressive footbridge? High above a flowing waterfall you will experience a unique perspective and a breathtaking view. The bridge not only offers a visual spectacle, but also an exciting challenge for visitors who want to experience nature in an interactive way. Children and adults can enjoy the impressive decor and the special environment.
But that's not all! At various water features in our showroom, children can feed the fish themselves. This not only provides a playful and educational experience, but also provides a moment of rest during the discovery tour through our showroom. Feeding the fish brings nature closer and makes the experience even more complete. A place where adventure and relaxation come together!
Our Vision for the Future
We want to expand our social impact even further. With the right investors and partnerships, we dream of a large play hall where all children and families who are not well off can play and experience for free. A place full of adventure, relaxation and discovery.
In addition, we want to develop educational environments that let children experience how valuable and precious they are. An educational and positive experience that contributes to their self-confidence and development.
We also have plans for a beautiful greenhouse, a green oasis where nature and experience come together. Here we want to create about 100 daytime activities, where visitors can enjoy various activities. Feed birds in our aviary, walk through the butterfly garden or go looking for treasures in our gold mine. This will be a place where people can relax, discover and enjoy themselves to the fullest.
With these plans we want to make Drachten a unique destination. A place where everyone is welcome and where our social impact is truly felt. Will you join us?
